Your Dog Can't Tell You It Hurts
Protect their Neck. Achieve Gentle, Pain-free Walks.
Standard collars and back-clip harnesses put direct pressure on your dog's trachea, spine, and neck nerves on every walk. The SnootCo No-Pull Harness ends that, gently.

The Research
What collars and back-clip harnesses are doing to your dog.
91%
Of dogs sustain neck injuries
A 2020 study in the journal Veterinary Record found that 91% of dogs that wore collars sustained neck injuries from leash-pulling pressure on the cervical spine and trachea.
2.5×
Higher eye pressure
Researchers at Nottingham Vet School recorded intraocular pressure spikes up to 2.5× normal in dogs that pulled against neck collars, a known risk factor for glaucoma.
20 lbs
Of force on the trachea
Even a small dog can generate 20+ pounds of pulling force on a leash. Sent through a collar or throat-strap, that force compresses the windpipe and thyroid every single walk.

How It Works
Pressure off the throat. Control where it belongs.
The SnootCo harness uses two leash attachment points and a padded chest plate to redirect pulling force away from the neck, turning every pull into a gentle, sideways pivot.
Front clip redirects, doesn't choke
When your dog lunges forward, the front D-ring rotates them gently back toward you. No yanking, no choking.
Load-spreading chest plate
Padded sponge layer distributes force across the sternum, the strongest part of your dog's skeleton, instead of soft tissue.
4-way adjustable, fits XS to XL
Snug-but-not-tight on chihuahuas, huskies, and everyone in between. Grows with puppies.

“Finally a harness that fits properly across the chest instead of riding up into her armpits. Reflective stitching is a bonus on night walks.”

Questions, Answered
Everything you want to know.
Will it stop my dog from pulling on day one?+
Most owners see a 60–80% reduction in pulling within the first three walks. The front clip redirects forward momentum sideways, so your dog physically can't lean into the harness the way they can a collar.
How is this different from a regular harness?+
Two leash attachment points (front for training, back for relaxed walks), four adjustable straps for a true custom fit, and padded chest plate that spreads load across the sternum, not the throat.
What sizes are available?+
Five sizes from XS to XL, fitting dogs from about 5 lbs up to 110 lbs. Each size has four adjustable straps so you can dial in a precise fit across the chest and girth.
How do I measure my dog for the right size?+
Measure the widest part of your dog's chest (just behind the front legs) with a soft tape. Compare that number to the size chart on the product page. When in doubt, size up and tighten with the straps.
Is it safe for puppies?+
Yes. The padded chest plate and soft mesh lining are gentle on developing joints, and the four-way adjustment means it grows with your puppy through several months. We recommend the front clip for leash training from the start.
Can I attach the leash to the back instead?+
Absolutely. The back D-ring is reinforced steel and built for relaxed walks once your dog is no longer pulling. Most owners use the front clip during training, then switch to the back ring for everyday walks.
Is the harness machine washable?+
Yes. Hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a mesh laundry bag, then air dry. Avoid bleach and the dryer so the reflective stitching and padding stay intact.
Will the reflective stitching actually show up at night?+
Yes. The reflective strips wrap the chest and back panels and light up brightly in car headlights from over 100 feet away, a real safety boost for early-morning and evening walks.
